Hi, I'm making a music video and want to see the audiowaveforms of the music track on the timeline. How do I do this? I'm sure it's fairly simple. Click the little arrow to the right of the small Timecode window in the timeline.

This will open up a panel. Click on the waveform icon for the track you would like to see the waveform on. Hmmm, yeah, tried that and all that appears is a horizontal line throughout the clip - looks like the gain line. If you clicked the arrow next to the timecode window and revealed the additional controls in the timeline, click on the button just to the right of the track indicator in the enhanced controls - that will turn on waveforms.

ALT clicking that will turn on waveforms for all active tracks. If for some reason that doesn't work, go to the fast hamburger menu in the timeline window and under "audio data" choose "waveform".
